Your goal will be to port RoboForm to Mac, so knowledge of all involved technologies is required.
Must have experience in large C++ software projects on Mac, preferably involving browser integration.
Requirements: Mac OS GUI, APIs, UI design, browser internals, C++, object-oriented programming.
So this means they acknowledged that there's a market for a future RoboForm for Mac and they will make it happen. The only thing that works for Mac is the RoboForm2Go USB key, so it means that the USB flash drive will work on Mac but the RoboForm2Go software will not work - kind of beats the purpose to purchase the USB key if the portable roboform for Mac doesn't work.
Anyway, if you're tired waiting for a RoboForm for Mac version, you could use a different product. I've heard good things about 1Passwd, a password manager for Mac, and here are some details that might be of interest if you are interested in switching to it until RoboForm for Mac is available:
- Integrated with Safari, OmniWeb, DEVONagent, Firefox, Camino, and Flock.
- You can import the RoboForm Passcards and Safe Notes into 1Passwd.
- It costs $35.

1Passwd is no where near as functional as Roboform but that my be because the browser integration with Safari is a lot harder.
I pray nightly for Roboform to come to Mac.
Great idea. I'll add that to my prayer list as well.
Check out online.roboform.com, I haven't tried it from my Mac yet but I'm hoping for the best.
Have tried 1 Password for 8 months and can say that it is no way as functional as Roboform. Plus the program FORCES you to accept it's complex, self generated passwords- a "philosophy" of the company. Often it does not autofill and frequently it enters the stored identity information in the wrong fields. It is a pain to have to manually alter addresses, usernames & passwords when not correctly filled and more than once I have ended up with a new account "user name" tied to an email address that 1P entered and I did not want.
It is a nightmare to sync 1P between my other Macs, the sync options are just not up to Robo and the suggested 1P Drop Box opiton takes up 6 GB and slows my connection to a crawl. I have suffered through 3 1P upgrades and rarely use it anymore. I have tried it with Omniweb, Opera, and Safari. I am back to using my PC with Robo to add new sites. Weekly, I export Robo data to HTML and then convert to a pdf the file on my Macs and refer to it if the Safari keychain is not sufficient. I am pondering a virtual interface so that I can use Robo on the Mac when my last PC dies. Every few days I search "roboform for mac". PLEASE, PLEASE come over to a MAC... I am willing to pay dearly!!
